An Alliance Guild on the World of Warcraft Ravenholdt (RP-PVP) Server
"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."
At the beginning of the New Age in the land of Azeroth, a fellowship rose from within the Alliance. This fellowship, conceived by the Ancients, was designed to shift the balance of the land towards the greater good. These once lonely travelers found purpose in guarding the light. Molded by the hands of our founding member Uriella, Soulbound was born.
Soulbound
is a roleplaying guild on the Ravenholdt RP-PVP server. We function as an extended family, assisting each other with quests, items, raiding, and simply having fun. Kindness, charity, maturity, and compassion are hallmarks of our group. The atmosphere of friendship and family is, for us, the foundation of everything.

Roleplaying 101
Uriella
, Oct 16, 10 9:26 AM.
Soulbound is a roleplaying guild. Our family believes in supporting the roleplaying environment in our realm. As our guild leader, my philosophy on roleplaying may differ a bit from some of the "heavy" roleplaying guilds on Ravenholdt. We are a moderate roleplaying guild. Though some members may practice a heavier style of roleplay in our family, it is not required. What is the difference between a light, moderate and heavy RP guild? I believe a light RP guild allows both non-RP players and RP players to coexist within one family; therefore, we are not light. I believe that a heavy RP guild has an overall story deep rooted in lore with which members are expected to participate. Heavy RP guilds also expect all members to have a detailed history and story associated with their characters. Though we encourage a deep story, it is not required for our members. And, our family does not have an overarching story. Therefore, we are not a heavy RP guild. We fall somewhere in the middle. We expect all members to remain in character and expect them to follow general RP etiquette. We also support those who are new to RP and hope to grow the RP community.
I want our family to be a welcoming place for those who are interested in learning more about roleplaying and "testing the RP waters" among some veteran RP players. Therefore, many RP newbies that would get turned away from the heavy RP guilds on our server will find a warm, welcoming home among our family. However, we still expect those who are new to RP to dedicate themselves to learning the art and expect them to try hard to stay in character at all times. Remember, we have many veteran roleplayers in our guild who will offer suggestions via whisper as you continue to learn and grow. Please accept these kind suggestions from others as they are intended and do not take offense to them. Our goal is to help you - not upset you.
As a member of this family, you are required to understand basic RP etiquette. We all should continue to put effort into roleplaying our characters. I've found a wonderful guide for both newbies and veterans that outlines what it means to roleplay a character. Everyone should take a look at the following site:

Congratulations to
Ärcänä! She has stepped forward and asked if she could help with the organization and management of our Guild Vault.
Ärcänä has already proven herself a valued member of our family through assistance, donations, and promoting the guild charter. I have promoted
Ärcänä to the Veteran rank, which enables her to manage our vault more efficiently. I owe her thanks for stepping forward and wanting to devote her time to something that will benefit the entire guild family.
So, if you notice something in the Guild Vault that you need or want, please do not hesitate to contact
Ärcänä or myself and let us know. We both visit a city mailbox daily and can deliver items to you within a day of your request or immediately if you are online. Also, please continue to donate to our guild vault. It is one of the ways that we can help and support our family.

Our 1st Fishing Tournament!
Uriella
, Sep 25, 10 12:19 AM.
On a beautiful night in Elwynn Forest, guild members gathered on the banks of Crystal Lake for a friendly fishing competition. The tournament lasted 30 minutes. Every fish that a member caught counted as 1 point. If they caught a fish with a weight, the weight of the fish was the points for that fish. If they caught anything that was not a fish, it counted as 5 points.
Felathrim
won the competition with 118 points. He caught 93 fish, 2 ten pounders, and 1 mana potion.
Larelle
came in a close second with 109 points. She caught 87 fish, 1 twelve pounder, and 1 ten pounder. They both received 10 gold and a set of 18-slot Netherweave Bags. Everyone had a blast!
Be sure to check photos from the event in the Media section of the website. Also, take a look at the guild calender on this website or in-game to see future events.
